What age groups do you serve?
We welcome dancers of all ages. From toddlers to adults. Classes are grouped by age and skill level.
Please note: toddlers must be fully potty-trained (no diapers).
What dance styles do you offer?
We offer a wide range of styles, including ballet, hip hop, jazz, contemporary, tap, and more.

Do you offer anything besides dance classes?
Yes! In addition to dance, we offer:

These programs give students even more ways to express themselves creatively.
Do I need dance experience to join?
No experience needed! We offer beginner through advanced classes so everyone can grow at their own pace.
How do I register for classes?
Create an account on our Parent Portal, choose your classes, and complete the sign-up process.
I’m intermediate or advanced, but I don’t see those classes in my portal.
Your account must be flagged for “Advanced to...” to view higher-level classes. Please check with your teacher or our front desk for help.
Do you have a competition team?
Yes! Destination Dance Hawaii is proud to offer a competitive dance program for dedicated students who want to take their training to the next level. Our team attends regional and national events throughout the season, and dancers receive additional performance and leadership opportunities. Learn more on our Competition page.
Is tuition monthly?
Tuition is billed monthly. We do not have annual contracts; however, it is essential to remember that you are committed to each month. Once you receive your billing statement, that signals commitment to the current month.
What should I wear to dance class?

Are there performance opportunities?
Yes! Our annual recital is a professionally staged event. We also host optional showcases and studio performances throughout the year.
How big are your classes?
We keep our class sizes small to ensure personal attention and a quality learning experience. Sizes may vary slightly by class style and level.
Do you offer free trials?
Yes! New students can sign up for (1) free trial class per genre through our Parent Portal. It's a great way to try us out before committing.
What happens if I miss a class?
We allow makeup classes based on availability. Please email or visit the front desk to schedule your makeup.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes, we offer Military and First Responder Discounts. Please make sure to stop by the front desk to provide your ID. Discounts will begin once you have shown it to our staff.
Can parents watch class?
For the safety and focus of all dancers, our classes are closed to observation. However, we do offer parent observation weeks and special showcases throughout the year.
What is the LDLP Program?
Our Love of Dance Leadership Program (LDLP) is designed for students who want to grow as leaders both in and out of the studio. LDLP members earn service hours, attend workshops, and serve as role models in our community.
Qualified dancers are invited to apply each season.

What is NHSDA and how can I join?
We are proud to be a chapter member of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts (NHSDA). This prestigious program recognizes outstanding artistic merit, leadership, and academic achievement in dance students. Eligible dancers may apply annually for induction.
